Belandaria Designs Meets The Purple Lady

What do you get when you combine forces of a Purple Maven and a Jewelry Artisan Supreme?

The beginning of something so purplicious you won't be able to stop yourself from joining in...

This gorgeous lace choker is from Belandaria Designs, an owner-operated company started by my friend, Suzanne Colucci.

for a bit more of our backstory, go to: Suzanne, Jewelry, and The Cure

To begin, I was enchanted by the creativity I saw when I entered The Etsy Shop .
The designs are unique and her custom projects reflect the individuality of her clientele. My eyes told me we needed to put our heads together, so I contacted her. Suzanne, adventurous as usual, caught the spirit of it all, and agreed; then, I just had to wait for the final product. Talk about curiosity eating someone alive! It all but killed me to wait to see what Suzanne would create.

Upon opening the highly anticipated package, I was struck by the exquisite simplicity of this hand-crafted work of art and by the fact that the box was purple too... you can't ask for much more. Well, this purple-loving lady certainly cannot.

I tried it on and, even though I am too goofy to be able to measure my neck properly, she got it exactly perfect. It couldn't have been any more perfect, actually.

The clasp is a gorgeous, weighted magnet, keeping the necklace in place while being quick and easy to put it on or take it off. A tricky clasp can make or break the likability of a piece of jewelry for me-- no matter how fabulous it may look.

So, if you would like to see more unique and fabulous jewelry designs, go to the
or directly to The Etsy Shop

and follow Belandaria Designs on #Twitter @BelandariaSue to keep up with her latest news

Suzanne generously provided me a sample necklace in exchange for this feature. I am grateful to have had the opportunity.

Also, many thanks to Laurel Elizabeth Photography for providing her services at no charge for this feature.

It is such a pleasure to collaborate and share talents with so many kind and giving people.

  1. glad you like it. it is delicate, yet, once on, it stays in place as if it were glued on. Suzanne knows her stuff.

Hope you have a Merry Christmas
