Standing aside watching the world go by

Without her

Taking in all the excitement and joy 

As a bystander

Once a participant 

Cast off

Benched

Set aside

Walked off the field on her own accord

To join in on the sidelines 

At times

When it doesn't hurt too much

To watch everyone 

Playing without her

Trying to make cheerleader worth as much

To no avail.
