Everyday details
Swept away
Instantly
By an invisible
Monster
Stealing away
Voluntarily
Though unwillingly
Things
We never thought
Would change
Sports games
Theatre performances
Competitions
Friends in hallways
Dances and dates
Driving in cars together
Laughing and passing
Notes from hand to hand
Memories
Never to be made
Even lockers
Did not seem
So very special
Before

  3. I truly feel for all the high school and college students who are being deprived of such monumental life moments. We are part of the group that is having a wedding amongst all this quarantine. Not what we ever imagined.
