sunny shore

Sunny shores
With sand and rock
Take me where I long to be
Thinking of the footprints
Along the path of life
That are there then wash away
Touching our lives
Create lasting impressions
Sinking into long-term memory

Never to be forgotten

As I reach for you and making moments
Holding with the lightest touch possible
Hoping for all things possible
Do what you will
Say what you will
But in all things show love
Because with any luck—our luck
The sand quickly slipping by
Will gently guide you toward
My sunny shore
