With all my table setting hobby stuff comes the blessing of always being at the ready to put on a little afternoon tea pretty much any time of day. I had the chance to do an impromptu brunchy tea party with one of my sisters-in-law, making finger sandwiches, scrounging for extras in my pantry and fridge, and setting the table. We had a nice visit with some delights that I had on hand and a bit of table setting fun. I am grateful for surprise moments like these that I had to share with my family.
