Gratitude Month 2025: Visiting

Anyone who knows me even a little bit knows that I love to visit. I look forward to eternity for many reasons, but one of the big perks is being able to talk for pretty much ever. I am so thankful that I am able to strike up conversations with most anyone any time and in almost any place. I get it from my dad after growing up seeing his example of asking people just the right questions to help them understand he was someone you could really talk to. I used to be mortified by his chatty Kathyness, but I am just the same way and have been probably well before I knew and was thinking he was weird for it. I am thankful for the ability to visit with people and find joy in it rather than dread like some people do, and I am thankful for my dad's example of how to go about pro-level visiting. It has blessed my life in surprising and unique ways.
