I can't—or shouldn't—tell you
How you made me feel
So long ago and then once again
As you brush your hand across my cheek
And run your searching breath along my neck
Sending me into an inescapable dream;
Nor shall I elaborate
How the simple fact of you
Gazing lovingly into my eyes
And gently pressing your sweet kiss
Upon my unpracticed lips
And fingers, one by one,
Remind me of what I want
I want you—and always will.
How you made me feel
So long ago and then once again
As you brush your hand across my cheek
And run your searching breath along my neck
Sending me into an inescapable dream;
Nor shall I elaborate
How the simple fact of you
Gazing lovingly into my eyes
And gently pressing your sweet kiss
Upon my unpracticed lips
And fingers, one by one,
Remind me of what I want
I want you—and always will.
